Memorial Weekend

I *love* Memorial weekend because usually it means we get to spend a lot of time with family and this year was no exception.  My parents came to stay with us for the weekend and my Aunt Tammy and her family came down for a BBQ this afternoon.  Coop and Bailey loved having lots of new people to show off for! :)  Here is Miss B and me posing for Grandpa while he figures out his camera....its a little blurry:
We had everyone down for hamburgers, brats, macaroni salad, watermelon, and a delish dessert that my aunt made called "Turtle Pie." Chocolate ganache, cream cheese, caramel, pralines, and chocolate creme cookies all in one pie...yeah, not going to help my weight loss today I'm afraid. :)  Here is my gorgeous cousin Jenda and me:
Jenda and Coop (he'll pose for pictures as long as it isn't with an immediate family member):
We had to get one with all the ladies, I wish we all lived a little closer so we could do more together:
Everyone headed back up to Preston afterwards to visit my grandma who's health has been struggling lately. We missed you grandma and grandpa!  The house is the most quiet it has been in several days.  We have loved having family here to visit...Coop was quite distraught when everyone had to leave.  He thoroughly enjoyed showing off his Angry Birds skills to my aunt and uncle and playing grandma's Ipad 24/7.  He did clamor in for one shot with me and his grandma before they left:
Final shot with the parents:
Little family shot, minus Cooper:
It was a great end to a nice weekend.  This week is going to be full of stuff to do.  I get to finish baby shower gifts, help make decorations for a baby shower for my sister-in-law (so excited!), take B to an allergist to find out what exactly we are allergic to (I'm afraid we have quite the list and it is growing), attend a body language for kids seminar, watch Dan play softball, and whatever else turns up!  Happy Memorial Day tomorrow!
