Easter came before we knew it! The Saturday of Easter weekend was spent with two egg hunts, our neighborhood egg hunt (put on by the ward) and a hunt at Grandpa and Grandma Swenson's. I spared pictures of the egg hunts because I have like 50 and they all look the same. Instead, I thought I would share some of my other favorite Easter pictures. First, my parents sent a box with Easter goodies which Cooper was super excited to open. He got lots of yummy chocolate and a train. Miss B got a really nice bunny (which her mom wishes was her bunny but oh well :) and loved to hold it and tried to eat it until mom was done with pictures and put it up on a shelf to be admired:
We also dyed eggs for the first time in the 6 1/2 years that we've been married. I know, we were missing out! :( Cooper was really excited and would throw, yes, you read correctly, throw the eggs into the dye cups no matter how many times we told him to "carefully" put the egg in. Needless to say, we had many cracked eggs.
In case you didn't know, we are big monster fans around here so when I saw the "Monster Egg Dye Kit" at Wal-Mart I knew I had to grab it. Here are our monster eggs and if you look close along the back row you can see our "Mike" egg (3rd from the right) and our "Sully" egg (2nd fron the right).
Cort loves coopers eggs, he keeps asking to see the picture of them again, and again.
