Summer Adventures: Preston

Around the end of July, we headed up to my hometown for Rodeo weekend and to put some stuff in the yard sale that my mom and aunt were hosting.  While we were there, we took the kids up to the park to have fun in the festivities.  They had to try the giant inflatable slide:

They also got to ride some horses a couple of times.  Bailey insisted on wearing the cowboy hat that they got in their kids meal for lunch.  They were both pretty excited, even if it was just going around in circles. :)

We stuck around for the parade and a chance for the kids to get some candy.  As evidenced from the picture below, it was definitely time to go home at the end of the long day. :)
