Welcome to the new blog! I needed a change of pace, so I decided to completely revamp my blog, new address and all. The inaugural post on this blog is about Cooper's birthday, which was only a month and a half ago. Cooper is lucky in that both of this grandparents love him so much he gets to celebrate twice. The first party was with the Swenson side of the family. Here he is opening up his presents. We let him open up the hammer table that we got for super cheap at IKEA first not thinking that it would be his favorite gift and that he wouldn't want to open anything else! He also received some bubbles, a bead maze, and some mega blocks to play with. So spoiled!
I had just finished making my sister-in-law's wedding cake when Coop's birthday rolled around and didn't quite feel up to making another cake just yet, so we celebrated with birthday pie. Here we are as parents looking like idiots as we show him how to lean in and blow out the candles...we discovered our son loves fire and might be a closet pyromaniac...we are definitely keeping an eye out!
