Happy Halloween!
Can you believe Halloween has come and gone? I can't. In 10 days my baby turns 1. Where does the time go? Anyway, after much deliberation on Coop's behalf, we finally settled on a costume. I made him this skeleton costume, modeled off of a Children's Place shirt I'd seen before. My neighbor goes all out and decorates his yard and I thought it would be a wonderful place for Halloween pictures. Here is my skeleton:
He was so excited to have his face painted, he kept saying,"I'm so spooky mom!"
He also insisted that his costume have candy corns on it, so we put some in the belly. He was pretty happy. Bailey was our little pumpkin this year, she enjoyed dressing up and trying to grab her brother's face paint.
I even got a nice shot of the two of them together sitting on a casket:
We started the night out by going to a neighboring ward's trunk or treat. Its really neat how they do it, everyone just lines up on one square block and its like an assembly line. Cooper loved it. Here he is saying "Trick or treat" and "thank you" after every stop:
Miss B being carried around by her daddy, also scoring some loot:
And last but not least, one of my favorite shots of the night, Cooper running miles ahead of us ready for the next treat. Dan ended up taking him around to knock on some doors on our street and he enjoyed passing out candy to some trick-or-treaters at our home later.
We had some neighbors over for Papa Murphy's pizza and we tried their smores dessert pizza, super yummy. We hope you all had a Happy Halloween! :)
