Going to the Pumpkin Patch

Okay, so I am horrible at keeping this blog up to date, even more so when I am sick and pregnant, so if anyone is still reading it, bear with me...I'll try to be better.   A week ago we ventured out to the pumpkin patch.  A local nursery does it for free, they only ask that you bring a canned food item for the food bank.  We were excited to go and pick out a good pumpkin for each of the kids.
We got there early and we still didn't go until the fourth hayride came by.  Here is B patiently waiting on her daddy's shoulders.  I am grateful we decided to go early though, the line had quadrupled by the time we got back from the patch.
Dan wanted to make sure the kids got some big pumpkins, so he helped Miss B through the patch to pick out a good one...here she is with her pumpkin:
Cooper had his moments where he enjoyed the patch and where he wanted to have a total meltdown.  The kid has some OCD issues, and we know he gets them from me :), so he was throwing a fit about the way we got off the trailer to pick a pumpkin, throwing a fit about which pumpkin to get...we finally got him to calm down and he smiled with his pick of the patch:
All in all we had a good time and will definitely go again next year, just maybe not when the kids haven't had a nap all day!
